As Controller, Kirsten is responsible for the company’s financials, forecasting and cash management. She also provides oversight of the company’s work in progress schedule and related functions of procurement, subcontracting and labor compliance. Kirsten began her career in the prominent San Francisco CPA firm of Burr Pilger & Mayer, and transitioned into the technology sector as a financial systems consultant for Select Systems in the late 1990s. Here she worked with programmers to design, test and implement custom integrations to mid-market accounting systems. Her experience with relational databases and financial report writing was later applied to the construction industry as owner and principal consultant of Constructive Systems implementing Sage Master Builder, including the setting up complex union/certified payroll, job costing, inventory-PO and work order systems. Kirsten’s proven business acumen and technical background have been integral to providing SLP’s management team with essential analytics and information critical for solid business strategy and decision-making. Kirsten holds degrees in Economics and Accounting from Monash University in Melbourne Australia.
